With a groundbreaking new Broadcast deal inked with Fox Sports, the WNBL set its sights on a revamped look and feel.
Embracing the edgy and modern essence of basketball while symbolizing the league’s ascent to ‘new heights,’ the creative direction established a distinct and easily recognizable identity for its grand return to the limelight.
My involvement in the campaign encompassed crafting motion and graphic design elements of the identity, including dynamic motion graphics for digital content as well as a cohesive treatment for digital assets, social media content, game day signage, media banners, and a new finals series lockup.
The creative’s success extended beyond the visual realm, setting a professional tone, while also unlocking new horizons for the WNBL.
The increased reach from the season paved the way for a coveted primary sponsorship with Chemist Warehouse, while a further broadcast deal with Fox Sports secured for the seasons to come.
