With a disruptive personality for the category, The Apple Press was able to build brand awareness through an unexpected approach to activations and advertising.
Upon joining The Apple Press, there was ample room for conducting research to better understand our consumers and the competitive landscape both domestically and abroad. This highlighted several opportunities for improvement on the marketing forefront, as well as in how we launched new products and pitched to significant stakeholders for product ranging.
During my tenure at The Apple Press, we successfully secured nationwide ranging in Countdown, increased shelf space across Foodstuffs NI and SI, developed an in-depth understanding of key export markets with go-to-market strategies and explored how the packaging and brand could be improved to increase its presence on the shelf, maximizing unit sales.
This resulted in a new direction for the Smoothies range, designed to increase appeal, disrupt the category, and maximize the rate of sale.
